Hi there...happy Monday to you! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Are you ready for Thanksgiving? I sure am. It should be a wonderful time with lots of great company and yummy food.
I thought it would be fun to create some decorations for Thanksgiving, so I picked up a new Lifestyle Crafts die set I just bought recently and created a fun center piece sort or just decoration, period. I really loved playing with the Pumpkins Dies. I cut out three of the same dies in the same size and glued them together by the sides, to create a 3D element. What you can do with these is that you can use them with candles, as you can put a candle in the middle of them. I think that will be super fun!
For my small pumpkin I used Diecuts with the View cardstock I happened to have on hand and it was perfect as it has a white core in the middle, so I embossed it using
Lifestyle Crafts Floral Embossing folder, than sanded it off to show off the beauty of the design. I took the same steps to create my 3D pumpkin as I did for the large on. Once it was put together, I stamped some leaves using the JustRite Papercrafts Autumn Words stamps and stamped my sentiment on a strip of paper and added all that to my pumpkin. Cute, right????
