Authentique: Christmas Altered Frame Home Decor

Hello, today I am on the Authentique Blog and I have a Christmas home decor for you using our Tradition Collection.  I love Christmas decorations and creating this was super fun.  All you need is out Tradition Collection, a wooden frame, some pretty Spellbinders dies, Core'dinations card stock and Petaloo flowers and you are ready to go.

I first started out by laying my frame on the patterned paper and traced around it, cut it out and glued it on.  I also used the insert for tracing on the blue patterned paper.  It was super easy.  I used several Spellbinder dies for all the pretty labels and also my red card stock is by Core'dinations.  My ornament was created using Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornaments dies, which I cut 3 out of and scored them in  half and glued them together to create the 3D ornament look.  Finally I added May Arts green ribbon to it and Petaloo flower.

I wanted to add a sentiment somewhere so I used one of the "elements" stickers, which I layered with Spellbinders dies.  Here is another look of the frame.

Hope this inspires you to create some fun Christmas decorations.  This could make a great gift for a loved one, too.  :)
