Happy Saturday to you all! Hope you are having some fun plans for the weekend. I am attending a seminar about Mind and Body today and sure am looking forward to learning more. But before I take off for the day (well, actually I am posting this before I am going to bed as this is Friday night for me yet) I wanted to share a card I made for Scrap-mart.
I couple of weeks ago Scrapace
had a 6x6 bundle that had the brand new Carta Bella Samantha Walker Paris Girl papers and I just had to snatch them, as the colors and patterns are just divine. Sure hope you are on the Scrapace list, seriously, the deals are amazing and you can get brand new products. I can't wait to see every morning, what the deal of the day will be....LOL. Like Christmas morning every day.
Anyway, so needless to say I had to use these sweet papers and I paired them up with JustRite Papercrafts gorgeous stamp set called Just Because Vintage Labels
. It's such a pretty set, which of course coordinates with JustRite Vintage Label and Banner dies
. And as you can see my card shape is very decorative, just the way I like it...LOL. When I first saw this die set I knew I had to have it ASAP, it's by Spellbinders and it's called Resplendent Rectangles
and I am so in LOVE with it! If you get just one die from them from their newest release I tell you, this should be the one! It's GORGEOUS!!!!! And if you know me well enough, you should expect some blue, or turqouise on my projects, so I didn't want to disappoint, so you can see a pretty die cut, which is also by Spellbinders called Exquisite Circles
and they sure are!!!
My pretty stamped image of course was colored in with Copic markers
and the edges were distressed with Ranger Distress inks
, like they always are. I don't think I can make a card without adding some ink on the edges and they are always done with the Ranger Distress inks.
Here is a close up of my card.
Thank you for stopping by and wishing you a beautiful and breeze weekend!
Well, I certainly hope you like what you see! Scrap-mart
is always a great resource to pick up your favorite scrap supplies, so make sure you check them out!
