Samantha Walker August Creative Team Blog Hop!

Hi there, today is our Samantha Walker Creative Team Blog Hop!  Our theme is back to school.  Are your kids ready to go back to school yet???  I've seen Facebook posts that some have already headed back.  Gosh, when I was growing up I remember my school starting the beginning of September and finishing in June, and today I see all kinds of starts and ends...LOL....confusing me a little bit.

Nevertheless, I am here to share a couple of back to school projects that your kiddies and teachers might appreciate and it's all using Samantha Walker goodies of course.  I made a card and a goodie bag in an apple shape.  Here is the they look like.

For my projects I used Samantha's Creative Imaginations A- Z paper collection and stickers. My card also uses a Spellbinders die called Fancy Framed Tags One, which I adhered the Teacher sticker on top of.  I also used a pretty May Arts ribbon.

To create the apple shaped bag I used one of Samantha's Silhouette die cuts called 3D Apple Basket, which I cut out using the red polka dot sheet from Samantha's Creative Imaginations Nautical paper line and I combined it with stickers and paper from the A to Z paper line.  Turned out pretty cute, don't you think?

Don't you think this would make a pretty little gift to give to a teacher on the first day back to school?  You can fill it with all kinds of goodies, I am sure they would appreciate it for sure.
