Guest designing for The Rubber Cafe!

Hello, hello, did you miss me this week?  I am still around, but still sitting in the training room for another week.  I wanted to pop in for a bit though to share a fabulous little news!  I have been invited to guest design for The Rubber Cafe this month and can I tell you that I had a little too much fun, if one could ever have a little too much fun creating....LOL  First of all, thank you for this honor!  I really enjoyed playing with The Rubber Cafe gorgeous stamps and dies!

Today I will share two cards with you.  Both are created with the same stamp sets, which are the newest sets from The Rubber Cafe.  Window Garden, Wood Grain, Friends and the coordinating Spellbinders On the Fence dies.

I stamped the Wood Grain background stamp with red ink as my background.  Than I stamped the window and the window cover with black Memento ink and colored it with Copic markers.  I also stamped a few of the leaf stamps and colored them with Copic markers, than I cut them out. Same with the window box and the tulips to fit in the box.

I added a pretty Spellbinders die and my seam binding ribbon and finally I popped my window treatments on top of the window, so it looks like they are open.  You can see the 3D look better on this detailed photo.  Pretty fun, isn't it?   The pretty sentiment came from the Friends stamp set, which has beautiful sentiments!

My second card is also made with the same stamp sets, but I decided to use the  On the Fence Spellbinders dies, which is super fun in my book, especially when you combine it with the Wood Grain Background stamp.  The card base is made with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles dies, and the background paper is by Simple Stories, their Fabulous 6x6 paper pad.  The pretty flower  is from the Window Garden stamp set, which once again I colored in with Copic markers, than I cut it out.  Both my cards were glued together with The Rubber Cafe's Scrap Happy Glue, which is just awesome! Hope you try it!

Well, hope you enjoy these cards.  I will be back with more later part of this month.  Make sure you check out The Rubber Cafe, as these stamps and dies would be calling any crafter's name...LOL.

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!
