Scrap-mart - Congratulations card

Hi there, hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  I have a pretty card to share with you today.  I got some Scrap-mart goodies delivered the other day, which had some pretty fun products in it, and I had a card to make for a friend, who just retired after 32 years of working at as a teacher at the same school district.  What an accomplishment! Congrats, Karen!!!!  I can't even imagine how many children's lives she touched!

Anyway, one the products I received in my package was this gorgeous Quickutz Nesting Butterflies dies. I have wanted this die for a while, as I knew I could create my card base with the die and I certainly love shaped cards.  I also used another die from Quickutz, this one is from their newest release, the Bloom and Grow, called 4x4 die Medallions.  So pretty and I added it to the middle of my butterfly to layer my bow and pretty Petaloo flower on top of it.

Here is the close up of this card.  As you look closer you can see that I stamped on the purple card stock.  I used JustRite Papercrafts Fleur de Lis background stamp and the Congratulations stamp came from their Summer Words stamp set.
