Scrap-mart - Friends card

Hi there, happy Monday and day after Mother's Day!  Hope you had a beautiful day with your loved ones!  I had a fun day, got to see my son on Skype, as he is studying for finals and was heading out to the library to do some more studying, but at least I got to see him, so that was nice.  And I got me a nice Mother's Day gift, which arrived just in time, on Friday night.  I finally got a Cameo and I have played with it a little, and it cuts like butter!!!!  So I have a ton of cuttings to do.  Scrap-mart has the Cameo for a really great price, so if you are thinking of getting one, I highly recommend it.  I will do a separate post for that for next time.  So far I really really LOVE it and so glad I got it!  I had my original Silhouette for a few years and it served me well and it was just simply time for an upgrade.

But today I have a super fun Quickutz card to share with you.  Have you seen the Blossom Release???  Well, if you haven't, I urge you to check it out, as it has the cutest dies in it!  So innovative as well, but I let you see what I am talking about.  These dies are total 3D, as they fold....so fun!  Here is what I made with them!

I also used Quickutz embossing folders that are pretty brand new as well and so cute!  They are called Jubilant and comes with two separate folders...such fun hip patterns! I used them with Tim Holtz's new Core'dinations papers and sanded them to reveal the pattern even better.  My perfect and pretty sentiment came from JustRite Papercrafts, they are from the Vintage Rose Medallions set.  The little frame is also Quickutz and it's simply called Quickutz Frames...but suits it well....LOL  And how about those papers?  Aren't they cute???  I even cut out some of the birdies!  They are from Echo Park, they are Lori Whitlock's newest line called Hello Summer....I always adore Lori's designs and this new line sure didn't disappoint.
