Hi there, hope you are having a great week so far! I just got my new Cameo recently and I wanted to share a card I made with it right away. Do you have a Silhouette or a Cameo? I had my Silhouette for 3 years and it was time for an upgrade and WOW, I am so loving the Cameo, it cuts with so much ease and as much as I thought I don't need a 12" width, with all the new 3D cutting files out there, it sure is nice to have that ability.
Setting up my Cameo was the easiest thing. Literally plugged it in and was ready to go. The very first thing I cut out was this pretty Samantha Walker cutting file, in fact everything on this card is from her. The pretty flowers the leaves and even the butterfly. Oh and the papers are her newest line as well.
The tip I would like to share with you is something I learned a while back from Jennifer McGuire and it is that I cut most of my files out of white card stock and that way I can paint it, stamp it, or however I want to alter the look of it, so everything you see on this was cut out of white card stock. My flowers and butterfly were painted with Luminarte Twinkling H2O's. Here is a close up of it.
Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous day!!!
Hugs
