Good morning! Hope you all are having a great week! Looks like my blog has not been too busy again for a while, but don't you worry, I have posts for the rest of this week...hehehe. My in-laws health has been failing, they are in their later 80's. The past few weeks we received some not so good news about my FIL and since I work from home, I have sort of become a care giver, a Dr. visitor and things have had to take a back seat, but I am working on getting some normalcy back. So I am sorry I have not been posting as much.
Today, I am posting something super fun I made from products I received from
Scrap-mart. Boy, was I ever happy when I opened up my package last Friday. In fact I got so inspired that I had to create something right away! Let's just say
Quickutz sure has come a long way in my book! I am so excited about the way this came out. I used a few brand new dies they are coming with.
For my project I used the
CD Disc Envelope set, which is super duper fun! Imagine putting favorite pictures, or favorite music on a CD and decorate one of these little envelopes to put that CD in as a gift! I LOVE IT!!! Hope you do, too. I used brand new
Basic Grey papers for this, the 6x6 paper pad Plumeria, which is available at Scrap-mart for such a LOW PRICE, it's ridiculous...LOL My sentiment came from
JustRite Papercraft's Spring Words set. I love this set and have used it so many times already. It's one you might want to pick up!
Let me show you these yummy dies, so you know what you get in them:
For my flowers I used the brand new
Quickutz Nesting Clovers. Here is what they look like. I used two different sizes to create my flowers. Aren't they super pretty?
The last one I used is the gorgeous Quickutz Lace Die, which I don't see right now on the Scrap-mart site, but check back later. It's certainly a new favorite of mine.
Well, hope you like my pretty CD case and get inspired to create something like this. I sure think that it makes such a great gift!
Thanks for visiting and have a beautiful day!
Hugs,
