Hello ladies! Hope your week is going nicely! Mine is! I have been very productive in school, finished a project that was sitting on me like a monkey...LOL....well, at least I pictured it as that, but at the end I am so happy I did it and didn't give up on it! And I got to make a card for today's new sketch challenge at My Favorite Things
, too on top of it. Love that!
I finally got my hands on the Sassy and Sweet stamp set
and I could barely wait to create with it. I really LOVE this set, I just love how it coordinates with the dies, just beautiful. And this set calls for bold colors, at least in my mind, so I used these gorgeous Theresa Collins papers, but I will challenge myself to create with lighter colors in the future as well, after all a challenge is good, right? Anyway, here is what I came up with.
And now I have to share something else with you. ENABLING ALERT!!!!
LOL I will be the first one to admit, I don't like to spend too much money on things, if I can get them for less money, (although if I find quality, I will not buy the cheaper version), so I FINALLY decided to purchase My Favorite Things' card stock
. Arlene and Lisa both raved about them, so I figured I will try them. They arrived just yesterday and I broke them open today just for this card. The color you see here is called Sno Cone
and you will see me use this a LOT, my new favorite color!!! If you don't know me, let's just say, if I find something that I fall in love with, YOU WILL KNOW, as I want everyone to know about it....LOL. I just want to make sure you get good stuff, like I do. I bet embossing will be gorgeous on this card stock as it's so nice and thick!!! I am expecting some new embossing folders any day, and holding out for them! But you bet you will see them in a few days when we start our sneak peeks. Anyway, YOU NEED MFT Card Stock
, simple as that! I know I will be buying all the colors slowly, that is for sure! You could say I am hooked on MFT Card Stock...LOL
Anyway, let me share what MFT goodies I used on my card.
Make sure you stop at Kim's blog for the sketch and the list of the MFT gals who are playing along this week. Then head on over to the MFT forum at SCS and upload your card using the keyword MFTWSC17. You could be the lucky winner of a $15 voucher to spend at the store and if you use MFT stamps, than you could win $20!
Thanks for visiting and have a FABULOUS day!
