Hi there, it's Wednesday, so that means it's My Favorite Things' Wednesday Stamp Club day! Are you ready to play with a new sketch? Well this past week I have been able to get so many newly CHA released pretty papers in my hand, so for today I used brand new Crate Paper Emma's Shoppe line.
It comes with gorgeous buttons and all and while I purchased the buttons, I also just received my MFT Die-namics Buttons dies on Monday, and I wanted to recreate the buttons that came with the Emma's Shoppe line. So here is my card which uses a sweet Butterfly Kisses PI.
I started coloring her in during my Copic Certification class last Sunday, but I really wanted to do paper piecing on her and also wanted to use my Luminarte Twinkling H2O's to paint her wings in and I am happy the way she turned out. Hope you like her as much as I do.
And now let's talk about the button you see on the pretty flower. Here is a close up of it.
So, I used the
Button Quartet Die-namics. I cut it out once with regular card stock and also with chipboard, as I really wanted a sturdy button. Once I cut them out, I painted my card stock button with Twinkling H2O's and also started painting little flowers on it. Once they were dry, I just glued them together with liquid glue. Again, I was inspired by the Emma's Shoppe buttons, which are sooo super sweet! Of course now I may just hoard them, as I can make something like them..LOL As a final touch I added some yummy
Twinery Twine. So, what do you think??? Like, no like????
