Iwona's new sketch challenge card

Well, hello again!!  Back to post more...LOL  So, do you use Google Reader?  I recently started using it due to Frances' enabling on the MFT team...thanks Frances...LOL.  So now, I am literally addicted to looking up all the gorgeous creations my favorite peeps are sharing.  A lot of you are in my reader...just sayin'...LOL

Anyway, this morning, I spied that Iwona is starting to do a sketch on Saturday's and I immediately fell in love with her sketch and had the perfect idea for it.  I have to confess, and it's no secret, really, I LOVE Butterflies, in fact I am thinking of holding a Butterfly day, where we could all link up our Butterfly creations.  Would you be interested???  It could be a fun Butterfly Hop for sure.  So, let me know, if you would be interested.  I could use Mr. Linky and it would be super easy!

So, on to my card.  Yesterday I spent a few fun hours with my new friend Jackie Pedro.  Luckily she lives close to me and we met at Starbucks, then headed over to our favorite LSS, Scrapbook Island to do a little shopping, and to Joann's.  So I picked up a few little 6x6 pads at Scrapbook Island, and this morning I used one of them already as it was perfect for my card.  It's by Bo Bunny, Gabrielle.  LOVE this collection so much.

And here is Iwona's pretty sketch I got inspired by.  Make sure you go check out here gorgeous card!  She participated in the PPA Color challenge and my colors are fitting that challenge pretty good, too.

So, I had to pull out my MFT Inspired By Butterflies set.  I LOVE this set. Looks like it might be out of stock at the moment, but check back later.  The butterflies, the sentiments, they all just speak to me.   I stamped and embossed my butterfly on white paper and painted it in with GORGEOUS Luminarte Twinkling H2O's....so pretty and sparkly!!!  I also added some Twinery Twine, which now is available at MFT, LOVE that!!!  I used Caribbean Teal. And of course I had to use a few MFT dies.  Here they are.

Well, that is it.  We are heading out to a late lunch, then I will be heading back to my LSS, as they got the Crate Papers in and I have been waiting and waiting for those so NOT very patiently...LOL.  Have a FABULOUS rest of the day!

Hugs.
