H{ippity} Hop!

Happy New Year!
Happy H{ippity} Hop!

It's my first post of the New Year, hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season!  We are back to Northern California and got the kitties with us safe and sound. It was a fun trip driving up with two scardy cats in the car and Fuzzy was so nervous, he had a little accident in the car, but thankfully it was all OK...LOL  They are getting used to our place and our friends came for a visit Saturday to meet them and fell in love with them, specially with Louis, as he is the lover in the family...hehehe.  I had to watch their coat as they left, so they don't sneak him out...LOL.  We certainly have baby sitters lined up, if needed...LOL

And since it's a new year, exciting things are happening in my life and I will share just a little bit with you.  I have decided to take some graphic designing classes, since I so love to design and today is my first day in school...so wish me luck!  So, you might see a little less posts from me, at least in the beginning, but only so you can see more cool things from me later on.  I have BIG plans, 2011 will be AWESOME!!

And now onto Ippity, we have an exciting change in the way we are going to do our challenges.  They will be month long and each week we are adding something new to it, and we are going to have one big amazing prize for one person at the end of the month!  It will be so worth it to play along, you'll see!

Today we have a sketch for you to play with for the week and here is my card based on the sketch.

I turned the sketch on the side, as it worked better for my design.  The papers I used are by Imaginisce, which makes me so happy, love this new line called Garden Party (thank you my friend, Cristal!!)  The shape of the card is another amazing Samantha Walker digital Silhouette cutting file, that I just adore and have been waiting to use it.   And the Ippity stamps are some of my favorite from this most recent release, Sing a New Song and Cherish Your Dreams, adore these stamps!!!  My birdie and butterfly was colored in with Twinkling H20's...love these, as they just add such a gorgeous shimmer to my projects.

So here is how the new monthly challenges will look like.  What do you think???  We just wanted to shake up  our Ippity challenges a little bit, change is always good!

And now head on over to see what our fabulously talented Karen has waiting for you!

Hugs and have a FABULOUS day!

Darn pretty. Love the design of your card. It's different.

And the stamp set you used. It's one of my favorites.

Now for your cat's. If you travel with them. Get some Calming spray.
I use At Ease, Natural Herbal Calming spray.

Just spray a little in their cages and let it dry. Put your cat in. They stay very calm.

I have two cat's. One who has been traveling since he was a kitten.
(10 years) and the other one Just starting traveling with us this past year.
