H{ippity} Hop Monday

Happy Monday to you.  It was such a solemn day yesterday, pouring rain on and off, and it was just really nice to feel the calmness in the air.  I really, really enjoyed it.  Hope you had a lovely weekend yourself.

Today we have a new challenge for you, since we just had the time change and Maria is our hostess this week and her challenge is to

USE CLOCK OR NUMBERS

all in the name of our time change.  What a perfect challenge!!!  When I first found out about this challenge, I knew right away that I will use my Tim Holtz Bingo embossing folder and that there will be some painting involved.  Nothing really fancy, but once I embossed, I just brushed the embossed surface with some cream color acrylic paint.  Now, the way I created my metal look is very simple and you can achieve this very easily.  I bet you have aluminum foil at home in your kitchen, right????  I cut a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of card stock and adhered the foil to it and ran it through my Cuttlebug and that is it...simple and always available, as long as you don't run out of your foil paper...hehehe.  So, here is what I came up with and I have to say I really love the way this card turned out, and sure hope you do, too.  I see more cards made with this look in the future for sure.

I used our Season of Joy Ippity stamps to make this card.  The paper I used are all by K&CO.  Karen and I shared a tab of it last year and now it sure is coming handy.  I also used my Tim Holtz Tattered Florals diecut and the pretty flourish is a Scrap-mart Exlusive Quickutz Flourish Border die..so pretty, isn't it???

Now, here is something exciting to talk about.....Our DT is going to start our new release sneaks of Ippity Stamps on this coming up Sunday....Hooray, Hooray...I can't wait to share of all the BRAND NEW IPPITY with you.  OMG, this is yet the best release, you will see what I am talking about...

Well, hope you enjoyed my post and wishing you a wonderful H{ippity} Hop and a FABULOUS Monday!

Hugs,
