H{ippity} Hop Monday

Happy Monday!  What a fabulous weekend this was!  I sure hope you had a lovely one!  Here are the snippets of mine:

 -weekend spent with Michael
- made chicken paprikash for friends and spent a wonderful evening with them
- had a fabulous sushi lunch on Sunday in the gorgeous downtown of Los Gatos
- great massage for $20
- helped out a homeless lady with a child at the grocery store buying them some food and gave them a little bit of money (I felt so fortunate to be able to help them!)

So, Life Is Good....doesn't get much better than this... ohhh and Saturday I got a mysterious text message from "someone" who turned out to be Jimmi Mayo...that she met my favorite guy Howard...hehehe...so, who is Howard???  It was funny, as at first I didn't know who sent me the text message and who the heck is Howard (although she did say Harold to be fair to my confusion..hehehe)  Howard is one of my favorite guys indeed, he is one of the owners of Scrap-Mart along with his sweet wife Laura, who is also my favorite!  They are just the most amazing couple, but Howard is such a funny guy and a magician, when it comes to handling a booth at any scrapbook expo and you might even have met him!  And he is so good, that everyone just loves him, so he was at a show in Virginia Beach, where Jimmi ran into him...hehehe

Anyway, back to sharing my card for today.  Our challenge theme for this week is back to school.  I should know, as my son just started his 3rd year in college, too.  So, I might just give him this card, hopefully the sentiment will inspire him throughout the whole year...hehehe.  For my card to look more school related, I cut a few files out with my Silhouette, the notebook page and stamped my Book It stamp, it was just a perfect duo. and how do you like those little charms?  Those are silhouette cuts as well.  The label the sentiment was stamped on though is a new Scrap-mart Exclusive Spellbinder shape!  Have you checked them out yet?  I just love it, it's so pretty!!!  The sketch is one of the Verve Stamps sketches, that I just fell in love with.  And the papers are Echo Park Papers again, as I just love them!

Well, that is all I have for you for today...hope you have a great day and a great hop!

Hugs,
