H{ippity} Hop Monday

Happy Memorial Day! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I had a FABULOUS day yesterday. I was invited to a tea house with two of my friends, and it turned out four of my friends have been planning secretively a late birthday party for me....hehehe... Needless to say I was sooooo suprised!!! Thank you Karen (Misty), Karen (Blingy), Liz, and Yolanda for the unexpected SPECIAL day!!!!

After the tea house I convinced Karen to bring her Glimmermists over, as I only have 8 bottles..and I am not going to say how many she has, but let's just say multiple of eights..hehehehe...so we ended up having a crinkled ribbon making party....we glimmer misted so many colors, and now they are just waiting to be dried and I can't wait to see the colors, but I know they will be amazing!  So, Karen, thank you for sharing your misties with me!!!!  Hugs for that.... :)

Anyway, today I have a very simple card to share with you.  I am sure if you know my work, you know I am more about layers and adding pretty 3D elements on my cards, so when I made this card, I felt it was naked, and not really my creation, but that is why it's called a challenge, right??  However I now know, I just can't do  CAS, it's not me, simple as that.  Our challenge this week for Ippity is to create a card for a cause and since it's Memorial day Kelly picked a really great cause and it's Operation Write Home.  Please check out the details of it, make a card or more A2 sized and send it to Unity by June 14th and they will send it off the Operation Write Home, so today my card will be sent in for this great cause.  For more details please check out the Ippity blog.  I made two of them and might make more, but for now these are the two I have done.

Well, that is it, but I will be back tomorrow most likely to show you my ribbons...oh....there are so many and soo yummy colors, too.  Can't wait to see what they will look like... And as might as well apologize in advance for the lack of my blog posts, but I have some changes going on that will affect my daily life, which I will share about in the next couple of days (nothing bad, so no worries), but I will try my best to have eye candies to show you as many times as I can, that is a promise.  In fact I am working on a super special guest design spot with a sweet company that I LOVE, and I will be able to show that off next week.  :)

Have a fabulous day and an inspirational hop!

Hugs,
