H{ippity} Hop Monday

Good Morning everyone and hope you are starting off your week nicely on this Monday. I had a great weekend, wasn't too productive, but fun, and that is always good in my book...hehehe.

Today, our Ippity challenge (IHHC25) is to create something FAUX. I got so excited about that, since I have been wanting to make a faux window for a long time and now I HAD a GOOD REASON for it..hehehe...sometimes, I just have to be forced, do you get like that?

Anyway, here is my cute little window card, which is actually a birthday card for one of our friends, Glenn. It was his birthday Sunday, and he loves nature.  In fact he lives in Northern California and has an owl family living in a little house he built for them, and he feeds wild turkeys every day, so I thought this card would be perfect for him..so Glenn, if you are reading this, here is your Birthday card, which will be getting to you soon.

Details of this card:

Cardstock:  Bazzill
Patterned Paper:  Crate Paper
Stamps:  Ippity
Ink:  Ranger Distress, Memento, Copic Markers
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Punches:  EK Success, Martha Stewart
Silhouette (my tag was cut with it)
Brads (don't know the brand, sorry, purchased many years ago
Button, jute
Sewing thread
Glue:   Helmar Quick-Fix Adhesive Runner450 Liquid Glue and Zapdots

Well, hope you like my little card and will play along with us and create something Faux.  I typed in Faux at the Splitcoaststampers and boy, there are a lot of Faux techniques to pick from that is for sure, so I know you can find something to play with, too.

Have a fun hop and a fabulous day!

Hugs,
Print
