Happy National Scrapbooking day!!!!

Today has to be the most fun day of the year...after all we are celebrating something we all love to do so much!!!  I know, I do...LOL.  Whether it is a layout, a card, or some other project, I love creating it.  Well, today, some of us from the Unity gang and the Ippity gang have decided to do a hop and showcase our favorite stamps on a layout!  And my DT mate, sweet Maria came up with a two page layout sketch, here it is, isn't it gorgeous???   I only used one page of it, as I am so not a two page girlie...LOL

So here I am with  my second layout in just a week from each other...surprise, surprise...LOL.  I am also hosting a challenge this month at Treasured Scrapbooking and since I have been holding monthly challenges there with different themes, I thought why not combine them all in one???  I had challenges with the themes of birds, scallops and hand made flowers recently, so I created a layout combining all those in one.  And here is the end result of that.

Details of this layout:
Cardstock:  Core'dinations, Recollections
Patterned Paper:  October Afternoon
Stamps:  Ippity (pssst...want some????  I have them HERE
Ink:  Memento, Ranger Distress, Powder Puff
Punches:  EK Success, Martha Stewart
Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die
Quickutz Flourish border (Scrap-mart exclusive)
AC Thickers
Buttons:  Clear and Simple Stamps
Spellbinders Label Ten
Glue:   Helmar Quick-Fix Adhesive RunnerPremium Craft Glue and Zapdots

And here are some detail photos

I used some favorite products on this layout, but two I want to highlight, as I am IN LOVE with them.  One is  October Afternoon papers.  I have ALWAYS loved them, but this new release is well, let's just say INCREDIBLE!!!  And let's just talk about my 3rd favorite guy (Michael and Shawn being the first two...LOL), TIM HOLTZ.....do you like my flowers???  Well, Kelly sent me his new dies (thank you, thank you, you are the bestest!!!) called Tattered Florals, which I have sooo wanted....well, it has not disappointed me AT ALL....I am so in love with it.  Here it is what it looks like, in case you want to see.  I think everyone who likes girlie creations should have this one diecut if nothing else!!!!!!!!  Scrap-mart has it on pre-order, so if you like it, you better pre-order it...

Aren't they gorgeous!!!  Well, now it's time to hop on to Maria's blog and see what gorgeous creation she has waiting for you!!!

Hope you have a wonderful National Scrapbooking day, I will be gone today, as I am heading down with Karen to the expo in Del Mar..what better way to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day, right????  I know we will have a FABULOUS day and wishing you the same!!!

Hugs,
Eva
