Friends with Flair and Helmar!

Happy Friends with Flair Friday to you! Are you ready for the weekend??? I sure am. We might actually go for a walk on the beach this afternoon and go see the Clash of the Titans movie in 3D after that. I bet that will be fun, so I am looking forward to that!

Today I have a fun and pretty card to share with you, where I used two different fun techniques and both are highlighting the use of Helmar products. You may have seen me post about them in the past, but on my card today I have a few fun ways to use them, so I think you will like it.  So here is the card I made with them.

Anyway, one of the techniques I used is foiling on my stamped image.  Like yesterday, I have to thank Beate (March 31st post) again for this fun technique and I will send you to her blog, as she is the queen of video tutorials, and I don't like to reinvent wheels...hehehe.  However the glue I used for this technique is Helmar's Gemstone Glue.  And it worked perfect with my foil!  Here is the close up of my foiling on the stamped flower..isn't it just so pretty???

The other Helmar product I want to highlight as well is their V2 Vellum Spray.  When I first got it, I was thinking...hmmm..not sure how I will use it, as I don't work with vellum that much, but I just KNEW there had to be a fun way to use it and boy, I was right!  Can you see my gorgeous???  So to make the flower I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and it IS indeed a quick dry adhesive..hehehe.  I so love that about this liquid glue.  Once my flower was done, I just sprayed it with the V2 Vellum Spray and sprinkled it with Shaved ice I had from years ago from Magic Scraps (it's worth holding onto goodies...that is for sure...hehehe) and that is how I created this gorgeous flower.  Hope you like it!  What do you think???
