Good morning everyone...are you ready for the the weekend??? I sure am!!! Tomorrow I get to scrap my heart out and I am so looking forward to it. Well, today I have a sweet little card to share with you. I used the CPS sketch this week, as it was just perfect for what I had in mind.
I got to use one of the really fabulous little Unity Stamp sets called Spring Unity. I really adore this little set, the birdie feeding the little baby birdies is just too cute. I colored my image in with Copic markers. And of course I used Spellbinders. I really can't make anything without them...yes, it's a sickness. The papers I used are from American Crafts and October Afternoon. Ribbon is from my own stash.
Now to create the little ruffle I cut a strip of paper and punched the edge with my Martha Stewart border punch, than I just kept folding it and once I had the right length matching the length of my printed paper I laid it down and ran my Helmar Quickfix Adhesive Runner over the edge and laid my paper on top. Than I ran the Adhesive Runner over the ribbon and adhered that to the front and back of the paper piece as well. The adhesive sticks amazing it will not lift at all. Than to adhere my cutout birdies I used Helmar Zapdots, which I consume in massive amounts, as I love to pop up just about everything...hehehe. Helmar has a lot of great adhesives, you should check them out on their blog, as their DT does show a lot of great ways of using them.....Here are some of their products. I was lucky to receive some and have been playing with them and will be sharing a lot more projects using them, so stay tuned!
Well, that is all I have for today, hope you enjoy the hop!
