Moxie Fab card and my new shoes

Yepp, you read that right....a card and a new pair of shoes all in one post..hehehe.  Well, let's just start with the card, than move onto my new fabby shoes.

These past two days I have been creating a few cards and I was inspired to create with the Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger, too. Lately I have been working on assignments, and while I enjoy working on them, sometimes I need to rebel a little and play along a challenge or, too as well. After all, that is how my little blogging world started. I really like this week's trigger, as it made me think of outside my usual box, so it was great for me. Anyway, here is this week's trigger for you, in case you haven't seen it.

And here is what my card looks like

I always have such a hard time taking photos of my white embossed backgrounds, so I really tried to take at least a semi good photo.  I even have a photo box and a decent camera (Nikon D60), so one would think my pictures would rock, right???  Well, this is the best I can do for now, hope it's good enough to see the beauty of this card.  My card of course uses Unity and {ippity} stamps.

So now, onto my shoes.  Today I got a pair of  new tennis shoes.  Yaaaaaa for me....Have you heard of the Skechers Shape Ups???   They are made for losing weight while you walk, but that is not why I bought them, although that is a great reason and can use it for that purpose as well.  My knee has been giving me so  much trouble this past year, to the point, that I feel like a 90 year old lady, I am in so much pain walking upstairs.  God knows I tried everything and the Drs. want to do surgery, but I really don't wan to go down that road.   Never mind the fact that we have no health insurance.  They just want to go inside and see what's up as they can't find anything major wrong with my knee, other than I managed to create a groove in my bone...yeah,, who never used to work out.  And now that I really learned to enjoy working out, I can't...boohooo.  So the weight I lost last year, I gained all back.  So guess what I am doing starting January 1st?  Going back on my weight loss program, which is the 6 Weeks Body Makeover, in case anyone else wants to do it.  I can tell you that last year I did loose 20 lbs in 8 weeks, and that was a miracle, as I tried everything else before that.  Anyway, so here are my new cute shoes.  Hoping I can walk without my knee swelling up like a balloon and I can get back into some sort of walking routine that will help me loose weight.  My goal is to loose 10 lbs by CHA and guess what?  These are the babies that I will walking down CHA...hehehe.  They are sooo very comfy and worth every penny and they are not cheap by any means.

Well, that is all today.  Tomorrow I will be back with the H[ippity} Hop and I have a pretty awesome creation for that, so please come back to check it out. It was a lot of fun to make that card.

Have a fabulous rest of Sunday.

Your card is gorgeous and I love all the white with the hint of green using Ippity/Unity stamps Eva!

Funny, but I have started shopping for some new Sketchers as well! I had heard about these shoes. I own a pair of walking Sketchers right now, but they are rather old and comfortable, but it is so time for a new walking pair! Love yours!!

LOVE your card so much! As far as the picture - someone told me to buy a third light to shine from the top down in addition to the ones on each side. It made a world of difference. You might want to try it. As far as the shoes, my husband tried to buy me a pair for Christmas made by Reebok - same design - but couldn't find the color I wanted anywhere. Maybe I'll have to check yours out!
