Christmas card and a Friendship card

I have few more cards that I made for Scrapbook News and Review Magazine these past few months, so I thought I would share a couple more today.  I am sure everyone is hustling and bustling with the holidays and my first card is still a holiday card and a super easy one to make as well.

I used an older Flair paper on this, and the card base was made with Spellbinders and also used my Stampin Up Sizzix Diecut.  The stamp is by Technique Tuesday.  Ribbon is by May Arts.

My second card is a friendship card, and will be sent to a sweet friend, who was my class mate last year.  I just love that girlie, so much, she is such a sweet Spirit!

The card base of this card is using Core'dinations papers and I used my Scor-it tool to score my lines to create the design.  I stamped my sentiment using JustRite stamps, the frame around the sentiment is Tattered Angels, which I sprayed with Iced Coffee Memories Mist.  Ribbon is from May Arts and the leaf was cut with my Silhouette and inked up with Ranger Distress ink.

Yesterday Michael brought home some really yummy English Toffee candies that were home made, so I went on a hunt for a recipe, so today I am going to make English Toffee and thought I would share the link, in case anybody would like to make some last minute gifts.  I think these are just perfect gifts.  Anyway, I found this recipe on a blog, which I found on TasteSpotting.  I quickly became addicted reading recipes, and this site is the coolest, as it collects recipes from all kinds of foodie blogs.  Talk about Yummmm...but watch out, it's addictive...hehehe.  Anyway, here it the recipe:
