Caardvarks and Friends with FLAIR

It's the 20th, so it's time for a new challenge at Caardvarks and since it's Friday also, it's Friends with Flair at Unity, so I decided to create something with my newest {ippity} stamps for the occasion.

Our challenge at Caardvarks was to color a stamped image, so this is what I came up with. It started as a card, but somehow it ended up framed and will be used as a decoration for the holidays, so it's all good. I am happy the way it turned out.

Items used to make this framed project:

Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned paper: K&Co
Stamps: {ippity}
Ink: Ranger Distress inks (yes, that is how I color my images in, I just pick up the paint with a watercolor brush, so easy, plus it's what I have, sure would love Copic markers, but it's just not in the budget...hehehe)
Chipboard frame: Tattered Angels ( I inked up the frame with Ranger distress ink, than I sprayed it with irridescent gold Glimmermist, again...trying to save money, plus colors can be customized that way)
Ribbon: Fabric Barn and the star is May Arts ribbon part
Punch: Fiskars border punch
Main shape was cut with Silhouette
Frame
