Today is Friends with FLAIR day at Unity, and if you haven't seen all the other ladies' creations, please stop by Angela's Unity Blog to see the list of people, who are all participating in this fun blog event. Today I have two cards to share with you. One is with the October kit and it's using the same stamp as I used yesterday, and one with an older image and a sentiment from the September KOM. So, here they go. Hope you enjoy! :)
This card was inspired by one of Yvonne's gorgeous cards, although it doesn't really justify the beauty of her work. And in hindsight, I think this card would look better just with black and white, so I will redo it with those colors. Anyway, here are the items I used to make this card:
Cardstock: Bazzill Bling and Stampin Up
Patterned Paper: GCD
Stamps: Unity October KOM
Ink: Ranger Distressed inks
Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilities, Martha Stewart border punch
Ribbon from my very old stash, so don't know who made it.
My next card I made for my sweet friend Ching's Birthday, which we celebrated Wednesday night at a Naughty Bingo place in Hollywood...hehehe...it involved cross dressing...don't ask, but no, none of us are involved in cross dressing, it was just a total fun event to attend and for a really good charity as well, a Teen Hotline! Anyway, here is my card I made for her. I sure hope she liked it!
Items used to make this pretty card, yes, I love it and admit it, too!!!
Cardstock: Stampin Up and Pacific Georgia
Stamps: Unity September KOM and Unity Christmas Elegance
Ink: Memories and Colorbox
Bling from Michaels
Ribbon from Fabric Barn
Spellbinders Nestabilites and Cuttlebug embossing folder and SU ticket corner punch
By the way did you notice the colors I have been using? Well, I have at least one more card using these colors to share with you tomorrow and that one I am quite proud of, I think you will all love it! Also, remember tomorrow is WORLD Card Making day!!! It's a day full of amazing events! I have so many places to participate at, but I will be playing along at Treasured Scrapbooking, Caardvarks, Splitcoaststampers with Unity and who knows where else. I will be posting a few cards tomorrow, that is for sure. What a cool way of celebrating card making, which we all know I LOVE!!!!! :)
Well, have a lovey day today and see you later!
