Vellum Birthday card

Ok, now I think I am loving this vellum look again, as I was making a birthday card and just had to reach for it. I was so inspired by Melissa Phillips' cards, so when I saw them I had to make my own version, so this is what I came up with. This card is for a wonderful friend, who just had her Birthday and we are getting together tomorrow to celebrate it, and actually mine, too, as my birthday is next week. So a bunch of us good friends are getting together to scrap at a store, so it should be a lot of fun! Anyway here is my card for her, and sure hope she will like it.

Supplies used to make this card:
Vellum: Stampin Up
Patterned paper and diecut: K& CO. ( can't seem to put this paper down and I have something else in mind with them, too, so get ready for more creations with these gorgeous papers)
Stamp: Impression Obsession
Alpha stickers: Making Memories
Chipboard: Little Davis (covered with white paper)
Gold embossing powder: Stampin Up
Lace: from my stash
Button and bling from my stash (I glued all the bling on a button and placed it in the middle of the butterfly...isn't it pretty?)

Well, that is all I have for now, hope you like it. Are you ready for Easter by the way? I am actually not doing anything, so I will be scrapping all weekend, how fun is that? Oh, by the way, what do you think of my new blog look? I found these beautiful banners from Banner of Blessings and I have wanted a simpler yet beautiful look for my blog, and their headers are just gorgeous and best yet, they are free. Take a look at them, if you are looking to change your blog look, you might like what you see.

Have a fabulous weekend, but I think I will be back posting some more pretties tomorrow, so please check back. I have a pretty Easter card I would like to share with you just in time for Easter.

Hugs,
Eva
