Happy Easter - Creatively Yours Spotlight Sunday

Happy Easter and thank you for stopping by my blog. Today I have a few pretty projects to share with you, which I shared on the Cuttlebug Challenge blog as well.

One of them is a pretty potted flower card, which I made for a Birthday Occasion, but can be used for Easter as well.

For this project I used quite a few Cuttlebug items, and I love the way it came out. First of all I have to tell you that the idea is not mine, I found it on Stephanie Luman's blog and you can check out her tutorial there, but here is the list of items I used for this pretty card:

Cardstock: Bazill and The Paper Company
Cuttlebug embossing folders: Houndstooth
Distressed Stipes
Collage set
Cuttlebug Die cuts: Flowers
Stampin Up leaves die cut by Sizzix
Pearls by Kaisercraft
Ribbon by May Art
Stamps: Inkadinkadoo
Ink: Stazon and Colorbox

Now my second project is a little purse. Since it's Easter we all need a new purse, right? So I made one for me too. I found this sweet little pattern and tutorial on Mel Stampz' blog, who's work I love, so if you would like to recreate this little purse, please check out instructions on her blog. Here is my little purse for your viewing and sure hope you like it.

For this project I used the following items:
Cardstock: Bazill
Patterned Paper: Webster's Pages
Cuttlebug embossing folders: D'Vine Swirls
Frills Borders
Pearls by Kaisercraft
Ribbon and metal embellishment from my stash
Ink: Colorbox
Punch: Martha Stewart Butterfly

And at last, I will leave you with an Easter card and wishing you and your family a very blessed and Happy Easter with it.

So, what are you doing today as part of your Easter celebration? I must admit, we are not really doing anything, which means I will get to scrap. Today it also happens to be Michael's birthday, so we will celebrate that with dinner and a cake most likely and I made a very sweet card for him, which I barely can wait to give to him. I will post that most likely Monday. Well, it is 12AM here, so I have to go to sleep before I can give it to him....hehehe. I will make him nice pancake breakfast to start his special day on a nice fully tummy. We will sure to have a lovely day!

Again, much blessings and hugs to you and your family and friends on this Easter!
Hugs,
Eva
