Cuttlebug Be Inspired - Sassy Stamps and Glitter

I didn't get my card done in time to show in the Cuttlebug Challenge blog this week, but I still wanted play along and use these cute stamps we received from Sassy Stamps. If you haven't checked out their stamps, make sure you do, they are really sweet and sassy.
Last week I was watercoloring my little image, this week I wanted to spotlight another coloring technique, which I am just learning as well, the blending of the coloring pencils with baby oil. I didn't even have regular coloring pencils, so I had to run out and get a pack of Koh-I-Noor woodless pencils, which now I really love. The colors are pretty and they were easy to blend with the baby oil. Some people use Gamsol, or Odorless Mineral Spirits or Goo-gone, but since I had baby oil on hand, I wanted to try that first and see how that works, before I bought more stuff. I thought it turned out pretty good, but I will try the OMS this weekend to see how I like that, and will report back about it.

Anyway, here is my little card (you can click on it to enlarge it)

Before I share about the supplies I used, I wanted to share one other thing about how I made this card. I actually used my Fiskars Threading Water border punch to create the edges of my card. One of my very talented friends from Treasured Scrapbooking, Cristal, who is also a Fiskateers created a video showing how to use some of the Fiskars border punches to make perfect corners with, so that is how I learned how to make the edge, which I love, so Cristal, thank you so much for taking time to make your video. Now if you would like to learn as well, you can watch it on YouTube
