Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge #21 - Watercolor

I will be sweet an short with this post, as I somehow managed to pick up a stomach bug. Anyway, this week at the Cuttlebug Challenge blog, we got to play with watercolor and our Cuttlebug. This was totally perfect, as I just ordered an adorable Sarah Kay image and the new Basic Grey little pads from Embellish Online, where Barb just started to carry them. So, if you like what you see, head on over to her site as she carries the most adorable images.

I created this card by tracing one of the top note die cuts (since I don't own the die yet, but will soon) onto watercolor paper and started painting it with my Stampin Up inks using my nifty waterbrush. I wanted to use mellow colors though. Once it dried, I ran it through my Cuttlebug using the Diamonds in the Rough embossing folder, than inked it up with my Colorbox Chestnut Roan to show the embosssed image even better. Than of course I embossed my image onto watercolor paper, too and painted my little Sarah Kay with using Stampin Up ink as well. Please don't be hard on me, I am just playing with colors, I hope you like the way it turned out. Well, that is all the special watercoloring I used, so here is my card to show you. (please click on images to enlarge, if you like a close up)
