I interrupt my CHA postings for a special reveal, which is this week's Cuttlebug Challenge blog's Be Inspired Challenge #16. This is such a fun challenge as you get to distress anything you create with your Cuttlebug. I love to distress and I will show you two of my distressed cards. Both my cards are featuring my favorite die from Sizzix, in fact the only one I own, the bird with leaves and flowers....isn't it just pretty?
Supplies used to make this card:
Cuttlebug Folder: Swiss Dots Sizzix Bigz Die: Bird w/Leaves & Flower Cardstock: Memories Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Stamp: Cat's Life Press
Chrystals: Prima Punch: Martha
Ink: Colorbox
Stewart Sewing thread, lace, flower and bling from my stash
And my second card
Supplies used for this card:
Cuttlebug Folder: Floral Fantasy (used on chipboard, too)
Sizzix Bigz Die: Birds w/Leaves and Flowers
Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Prima
Flower and bling: Prima
Alphabet sticker: Adornit
Ink: Colorbox
Special technique: hole punches on the edge of my card are made with a hole punch than I inked it to distress it even more.
Also, if you haven't seen this yet, we are going to have another fabulous weekend crop event called Luv Bug Weekend, so save the date for that. It's this weekend and we hope you participate, as it is going to be packed with lots of awesome projects to make with your Cuttlebug and you can win great prizes, so it will be worth your time on top of making cool things ready for Valentine's Day.
So, go check out what the other designers made on our Cuttlebug Challenge Blog to give you ideas on more distressing, you will be in for a big treat!
Have a fabulous day and I will be back posting more CHA goodness shortly.
Love,
Eva
