Pretty Basic Grey card

I got so inspired this morning by two blog challenges, that I just couldn't sit still and just had to create this card, and I have to say I just love the way it turned out. First of all, I have to give a big thanks to my good friend, Ching to let me borrow her newest Sizzix die cut, which I was able to use with my Cuttlebug. I know Stampin Up came out with their version, but she was able to find it and I sure am glad, as I got to play with it, too. I think I will be cutting a lot of these birds out for me! Thanks Ching!!!!!!

OK, so one of the blogs I made this for is the Basic Grey Challenge Blog, actually their 6th challenge and I was going for the Brown and Cream color combo and I used the Scarlett Letter 6x6 paper pads, which I think is just fabulous! I also got to use my new Martha Stewart border punch, a beautiful brown trim I have been saving up for a good occasion and a pretty flower my stash with a pretty bling as well.

Than this morning a new bloggy world friend of mine, Sankari told me about her and her friend, Brooke's new blog called Cinema Saturday, which you just have to check out! It's a great concept for inspiration by movies picked out by Sankari and Brooke each week. This week it's Pride and Prejudice. Talk about passionate movie! The colors from the Basic Grey challenge were totally going with this theme, so this is my card for their first blog challenge.

So, here is my card for you to take a look at:

Have a great rest of the day!
