Hi there, it's Christmas card creation time!  So I am here today with a Christmas card and since this week's challenge is to use non-traditional colors, that's how I created my card and I quite like it a lot!

To start off, I cut an A2 size card base out of light pink card stock, than I cut a slightly smaller card base out of white card stock, than another slightly smaller card stock out of kraft color and white embossed snowflakes on it using a stamp.

Next I die cut a Fiona's Magic Mirror out of light blue card stock.  Than I die cut a Merry Christmas out of white watercolor card stock and painted it with pink and green colors.  Adhered it to the middle of my mirror die shape and added some glitter to it.

Next I die cut my flower using Poinsettia Strip out of light pink card stock, built my flower and edged it with a little gesso and gold half pearl in the middle.  I also die cut a strip of Holly Leaves and added the leaves around my flower and finally I die cut the Pine Branches out of white card stock and left it just like that.

Well, hope you like my non-traditional colored Christmas card and here are the dies I used to create this with:

Justrite Papercraft: Merry Christmas and a HUGE SALE!

Hi there, Happy day after Thanksgiving!  Hope you had a blessed time spent with your loved ones and had some yummy food.  I sure did!  I wanted to share with you today a new shaped card I made using a couple of brand new Justrite Papercraft stamp and die sets.  Justrite Christmas Mini Tags Clear Stamps, Justrite Snowflake and Tag Dies and Justrite Multi-Step Poinsettia Dies, which accompanies the stamp set with the same name we came out with earlier.  I am sure you will love it.

What I love about these new goodies, is that you can do so much with them!  I created a little shaped card, but you can make ornaments using the same look, you can do tags for your christmas gifts, you can make place tags for your christmas dinner, just to give you a few ideas.

Anyway, the way I made is that I die cut two of the bases using the Justrite Snowflake and Tag Dies and light blue card stock.  Than I die cut the snowflake from the same dies out of gold glitter card stock, and the picture really doesn't do justice to this.  Than I die cut the tag from the same die set and stamped my sentiment on it.  finally I die cut my flower from the Justrite Multi-Step Poinsettia Dies set using red and green card stock and yellow in the middle.  I wanted to show you that you can use these dies even without the stamps. You can try using patterned papers if you like for added affect.  For me, I wanted a simpler look, so that's what I did.

Well, hope you like this little card.  And before you go since it's Black Friday, Justrite Papercraft is having an incredible sale, we have almost everything 40% off in the store...and I mean almost everything (even brand new products I just showed you), not just stamps and dies, you don't want to miss out on this!!!  Just click on the picture below to take you to our store and start shopping! :)

Well, that is it for today.  I will be back with more Justrite creations soon!  Have a fabulous time shopping!

Eva

To create this recipe book I started out using the spine of the book and die cut it using the Memory Book A2 Scallops and Rings out of corrugated craft card stock.  Then I die cut my cover pages our of black card stock and my insert pages out of cream color card stock.  I die cut a smaller size of the Horizon Rectangle Boutique Stacker Frames out of cream color card stock and stamped my pretty background image on it which is the Lace Background stamp by JustRite Papercraft.  I die cut the Bon Appetite out of a deep red card stock and placed it on the stamped panel, which I backed up with a light turqouise card stock to make it pop.  I added a little turqouise pearl on top.

I also die cut one of the borders from the Royal Scandinavian Border Set out black card stock and added it to my spine as a decorative touch and finally tied it all together with a red seam binding ribbon.

Here is the list of items to create this fun recipe book:
