Cheery Lynn Designs: Happy Anniversary card

Hi there, today I am sharing a pretty Anniversary card using gorgeous Cheery Lynn Designs dies.

To create my card base I used Horizon Rectangle Boutique Stacker Frames and die cut two of the largest dies out of kraft card stock.  I stamped it with JustRite Papercarfts Script background stamp.  I die cut a smaller Horizon Rectangle Boutique Stacker Frames out of white card stock to layer on top of the card base.  Than I die cut the Mirror Mirror Doily Frame out of aqua color card stock and the inside part of it out of white card stock and layered them on top of each other.

To create the flower I die cut the flower our of the Build a Flower #3 and also used the Embellishments #3 for the inside of the flower and added a yellow pearl in the middle.  I die cut a Leafy Flourish and Olive Branches out of white card stock and using Ranger inks I sponged a little color on, which I did the same on the flower and strategically placed all of them on my doily.

I die cut one Horizon Fishtail Banners and stamped my sentiment onto it by JustRite Papercrafts and adhered it onto my doily with the flowers and finally I die cut of the butterflies from the Small Exotic Butterflies #2 out of gold glittered card stock and once again I added it to my doily.

As a final touch I added some white gesso on the edges of my card base.

Cheery Lynn Designs: Smile

Hi there, I have a cute boy card once again inspired by this week's Cheery Lynn Designs challenge.  Feminine cards come easy to me, so I thought I would challenge myself, especially since I had this cute happy hippo I haven't played with yet from this release and I just knew he would make a cute boy card.

So I die cut my card base using A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped out of a dark blue card stock, than I die cut a one size smaller A2 Frames Rectangular Classic out of white card stock and one Lattice Circle Frame out of green which I cut down to match the size of the A2 Frames Rectangular Classic.  I adhered that on top of the white panel and than adhered that to my card base.

I die cut two different size Pierced Banners, one out of light blue and one out of the green card stock and layered them on top of my card.

I die cut my little hippo out of a light blue color and adhered it to a dark blue card stock so the dark blue would show through, and I cut off the access dark blue.  Than I die cut a red hippo as well and took the SMILE word out and added it to my light blue hippo.

Finally I die cut a Coved Rectangle out of red card stock and popped my hippo on top of it to stand out more and once again using popped dots added that whole element to my card front.

Well, sure hope this little card puts a smile on your face!

Cheery Lynn Designs: Best Wishes

Hi there, I love Cheery Lynn's  weekly challenge themes and this week is definitely a favorite.  Love flowers and especially the Cheery Lynn Designs flowers so creating a card with roses was super fun!

I started my card by embossing my grey card stock using Hearts and Rose Leaves Embossing Plate and went over it with white ink pad to show the pattern even better.  Than I die cut two Pierced Stacker #3, one out of grey card stock (the larger ones) and out of light pink (the smaller one) and layered them on top of each other.

I also die cut a Royal Scandinavian Oval Doily once out of cream card stock and the middle part out of grey yardstick to layer on each other and added that on top of the stackers.

Than I wen to town and created all my flowers and flourishes using Tea Rose MediumTea Rose SmallJudy's BloomsEmbellishments #3 and Leafy Flourish.  I used cream, light pink and dark pink card stock to create my flowers with and finally I finally I die cut the Best Wishes Phrase out of dark pink card stock.

Hope you are enjoying this card as much as I loved creating it. :)

Just too cute for words... :)

JustRite Papercrafts: Multi-Step Lilac Bouquet

Hi there, welcome to day one of our JustRite Papercrafts May release!  We have a fun release waiting for you, so let me start you with a gorgeous card.

Today I am sharing two stamp sets with you.

I created a card base out of water color card stock and using different colors I did a color wash.  Once it dried, I stamped my sentiment onto it. I die cut a Spellbinders Lovin' Diamonds die out of white card stock and using pop dots I adhered it to the card base.

Than came the flower making!  I recently got the MISTI stamp tool, which made stamping these beautiful flowers so easy.  So if you have a hard time lining up multi-step stamps, you need to own one of these!  Anyway, creating these flowers were easy and I layered them along with the sweet butterfly.

Here is what the Multi-Step Lilac Bouquet stamp sets looks like.

And here is what the Sympathy Handwritten Sentiments stamp set looks like.

Cheery Lynn Designs: Keep a Song in Your Heart

Hello, I am up on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog today and since our challenge this week is Lots of Layers, I thought I would create a card with lots of layers.

To start my card I die cut two Horizon Rectangle Boutique Stacker Frames out of turquoise card stock.  I also die cut a smaller of the same die using cream card stock for another layer. I die cut the largest Pierced Stacker #3 out of cream card stock and stamped it with a large background stamp using a turquoise ink to layer on top of the cream Horizon Rectangle Boutique Stacker Frames.

Next I die cut a Kiwi Spirit Doily out of cream card stock and a smaller die out of the Pierced Stacker #3 using light yellow card stock to layer on top of the previous layers.  Finally I die cut a Royal Scandinavian Tag 2 using kraft card stock and embossed my sentiment onto it.  I also die cut four of the corners that came with the Royal Scandinavian Tag 2 and added them to the corner of the card and topped them with yellow pearls.

Next I die cut the gorgeous Tiger Lily using water color card stock and I water colored it in and added it to my card.  I also added a little white gesso on the edge of my card.

Hope you like this little card. :)

Cheery Lynn Designs: Thinking of You card

Hi there, I have a Thinking of You card to share with you today.  I decided to create a card base with the A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped dies using craft card stock.  I die cut a Lattice Circle Frame out of turquoise color card stock and cut it down a little bit to fit it onto a smaller sized A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped which I die cut out of white card stock.

Than I die cut my rose and leaves twice using Rose and Leaves out of water color card stock and a gold glitter card stock as well.  I also die cut a Leafy Flourish using water color card stock again and painted it in along with my rose using water colors.

I tied a jute around my panel, added the flourish, the rose and the gold glittered leaves.  Finally I die cut a tag using the Tags 4 out of cream card stock and stamped my sentiment which is by JustRite Papercrafts from the Baking Antique Tags One onto it and tied it with the jute.

I also used the new Leafy Flourish dies, which I cut two of, one with green card stock and one with white, as I wanted to use the flowers, which I water colored.

I stamped my sentiment, which is by JustRite Papercrafts from their Floral Basket Clear Stamp set onto another brand new die called Pierced Banners.  Finally I added a butterfly from the Small Exotic  Butterflies #1 w/Angelwings.

Cheery Lynn Designs: Thank You card

Hi there, hope you all had a beautiful Easter weekend! JustRite Papercraft: Pet Sympathy Sentiments

Hi there, back today with another April JustRite Papercraft release card.

Today's stamp set is called Pet Sympathy Sentiments set. Sadly as I was creating this card a friend was saying good bye to his sweet dog, so I am going to be sending this card to him.  I tried to color the dog's face, just like his dog was.

To start my card I created a card base by die cutting two panels using Cheery Lynn Designs A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped dies out of kraft card stock.  I stamped a rectangle panel to layer on top of my card base with the new Burlap Chevron Background stamp.

I inked up a twill ribbon with brown ink and stamped the paw print border stamp on it with black ink.    It's perfect for that.  I die cut a banner using Cherry Lynn Designs Horizon Fishtail Banners using aqua card stock.  I stamped my sentiments on it.  I stamped the little puppy head stamp onto card stock and watercolored it.  I also stamped the heart tag image onto red card stock and added another sentiment stamp in it and cut it out to add to the ribbon

Here is what the Pet Sympathy Sentiments set looks like.

And now it's time to check out what my design team mates created with this stamp set.

Well, that is it for today, and wishing you a beautiful day!

JustRite Papercraft: Grunge Alphabet canvas

Hi, I am back with day two of our April JustRite Papercraft's release.  Today we have a fun alphabet to showcase, that you can use for so many purposes, such as cards, layouts, DIY wall art, or art journaling.

I chose to create an 8x10 canvas with a special message: CHOOSE YOURSELF

I recently read a book titled Choose Yourself by James Altucher, which I recommend reading for anyone.  The title stayed with me and of course the meaning of the book, so I decided to create a canvas with the Grunge Alphabet Clear Stamp set using our newest stamps and beautiful Cheery Lynn dies.

To start out my canvas I painted it with Gelatos, than I stamped it with the new Burlap Chevron Cling Stamp.  I used Creative Imaginations Rose stencil and molding paste, which I dried and inked it up with rose ink.  I used a medium size tag and painted it with Gelatos and stamped my sentiment on it.

I also pulled out my Whisper of Wings stamp set and stamped one of the feathers, painted it in with water colors.

I also used the following Cheery Lynn dies:

Here is what our fun Grunge Alphabet Clear stamp set looks like.

And now it's time for you to hop over to see what the rest of the design team created using our new stamps.

Thanks for stopping by and wishing you the best day ever!
