JustRite Papercrafts: Caring Thoughts Sentiments

Hi again, I am back with another JustRite Papercrafts November release card today.  And today it's another beautiful stamp called Caring Thoughts Sentiments

It's a beautiful stamp set for Sympathy cards, but can be used for other occasions, too as there are plenty of sentiments in there and I love the font.

For this card I used one of the JustRite Papercrafts background stamp called Sweet Vines.  I stamped my flower, butterflies and the sentiment on a card stock that was die cut using Vintage Labels Eight dies, which I layered on top of Cheery Lynn's Royal Scandinavian Doily die and my flower was also created using Cheery Lynn's Shasta Daisies dies.

Here is what the Caring Thoughts Sentiments clear stamp set looks like.

And now it's time for you to check out what my talented design team mates have created with this stamp set today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow.  Have a fabulous day!

JustRite Papercrafts: Sentimental Flowers

Hi there, hope you had a fun Halloween with your little ones, or not so little ones.  Today we are ready to start out November JustRite Papercrafts release.  This month we have a small release and hope you enjoy all the new stamps.

I took a water color paper and white embossed my pretty flower image and painted it in with water colors and I added some paint to the surrounding as well.  Than I white embossed a butterfly from another JustRite Papercrafts stamp set and painted it in and once it dried I cut it out and popped it up on the front.

Finally I stamped my sentiment on the card front and using pop dots I added it to light blue card base.  I didn't add anything else to it as I thought it was quite beautiful without anything else.

Here is what the Sentimental Flowers Clear stamp set loos like.

And now it's time check out what my talented team mates have waiting for you.  Here are the participating ladies today.

Thanks for visiting my blog and see you tomorrow with more pretties.

JustRite: Bokeh Polka Dots and Bokeh Time

Happy Halloween!!!!

I don't have a halloween card to share today, but I do have another JustRite Papercrafts October release card that I had fun creating.

It's all about the new bokeh craze.  It's fun and we have two new stamps to create the look with.  I used our Bokeh Time stamp set and our Bokeh Polka Dots Cling Background stamp.

I stamped my background stamp onto white card stock and using Ranger Distress inks I colored it.  I also stamped some of the little elements to add more interest to the background and finally added some pretty black sequins.  Than I cut a tag out of black card stock and using white embossing powder I embossed the sentiment onto it and tied it on with a twine.  I added the background onto black card base and I think it complimented the black sequins nicely.

And here is what the Bokeh Time stamp set looks like.  As you can see it has so many cool stamps you can create fun backgrounds with and I really love the sentiments that it comes with.

And here is what the Bokeh Polka Dots Cling Background stamp looks like.

Well, that is it for me today.  Wishing you fun trick or treating with your little ones.  I hope we get lots of trick or treaters in our new neighborhood.

JustRite Papercrafts: Oak Leaves

Hello, I know you probably think I fell off the earth....LOL.  I promise I haven't, we just had a big event in our life.  We sold our home and bought a new one.  It actually consumed my whole summer, as I was getting it ready for sale and than after bidding on two homes I didn't fully love and didn't get we found a home we love and moved on October 1st.

So, hence the reason for not posting in a long time.  But I am back and I have a few cards to share with you this week using JustRite Papercrafts October release stamps, which I was dying to use, so I finally had a chance to play with them at a crop I went with my friends.

I also got a new photo box and I have to learn how to use it better, so be patient with me.  Right now I am still getting too much grey in the background.  If you have a tip on how to eliminate that, I welcome it.  I use Photoshop for editing, but somehow still getting the grey. Anyway, let me start off with the first card of the week, which was created with the gorgeous Oak Leaves.

I knew I wanted to use watercoloring on this card as it was just screaming for it.  And one thing I haven't pulled out in a while is my Twinkling H2O's, so I decided to paint my card with that.  I embossed my images onto a watercolor paper using black embossing powder.

I find it's better to do that with watercoloring, if I want to contain the colors within the lines, so I did that.  I love the effect of it and hope you do, too.  I didn't add any ribbons, or bling or anything to this card as I felt it just didn't need it.  Hope you like it.  I think it encompasses the feeling of fall pretty good.

By the way, I don't know if you know this, by JustRite Papercrafts has the new Spellbinders dies available.  I just ordered a few new dies I had to have and thought I would let you know.  Also there is a great sale on the older Spellbinder dies, and they are not really that old, trust me, so it's perfect time to stock up on them!  Well, that is it from me today.  I'll be back with more later.  Have a fabulous day!

JustRite Papercrafts: Extra Grand Birthday Sentiments

Welcome back to day four of JustRite Papercrafts September Release.  Today is my last day of inspiration for you using the new stamps and I have a really pretty card to share with you with a pretty cool technique as well.

My card is using two brand new stamps.  One is called the Extra Grand Birthday Sentiments and the other one is called the Modern Lattice Cling Background stamp.  This card was also created for the newest Cheery Lynn Designs All About Texture Challenge.

So the way I started this card out was super fun. I cut a piece of card stock just big enough for the background stamp size and I added a thin layer of molding paste.  I dried it enough that I can stamp my background image into it and finished drying it.  Once it dried I watercolored it.  Once that dried too I went over the raised line with a Gold ink pad to highlight the stamp design.  Pretty fun, right?

I die cut a fish tail using Cheery Lynn Designs Horizon Fishtail Banner dies using black card stock, than I white embossed my large sentiment on it.  I added that to my card front and finally I added a few a pretty flower which I created using Cheery Lynn Designs Sweet Williams Strip dies and their Rose Leaf Strip. My pretty doily came from their Dutch Scallop Square dies and I also used their Sophia's Heart border die.

Here is what the super fun Extra Grand Birthday Sentiment set looks like.  I love this set so much!!!

Here is what the beautiful Modern Lattice Background stamp looks like

And now it's time check out what my talented design team mates have waiting for you.  Here is the list of the ladies who are participating today.

Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful weekend!

And here is what the gorgeous Wedding Wishes Vintage Labels Eight and Nine looks like

JustRite Papercrafts: A Flower for your Thoughts

Hello and welcome back to day two of our JustRite Papercrafts September release.  Hope you enjoyed yesterday's new stamps and today we are back with more pretty things.

Today we are releasing a beautiful stamp set called A Flower for your Thoughts.  I love even the name of this set and here is what I created with it.

To start out I die cut a few shapes using Cheery Lynn dies.  My card base was created with their Horizon Square Boutique Stacker Frames in kraft card stock, than I die cut a Dutch Scallop Square out of blue to layer on top.  To stamp my sentiment and flowers I used French Flair and French Scalloped Flair dies.  To top it all off I used Sweet Williams Strip and also added Fanciful Flourish and of course my seam binding ribbon.

What I most love about this stamp set is the fact that you are two step stamping which makes it easy to create the pretty flowers I used.

Here is what the gorgeous A Flower for your Thoughts stamp set looks like

And here is an idea sheet of what you could do with it

Well, I sure hope you like what you see and now it's time to hop over to my design team mates blogs to check out all the pretty things they created!  Here is the list of the participating ladies today.

Thanks for visiting and wishing you a beautiful day!

My card is using two brand new stamps.  Sunshine Vintage Labels Eight and Nine and Garden Trellis Background stamps.

Finally to dress it up even more I used Cheery Lynn Dies..lots of it..Judy's Blooms with Embellishments #3 and Ivy Strip.

CASE Study 4th Anniversary Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the CASE Studay 4th Anniversary Blog Hop!

I am super excited to participate as a former muse.  Thank you for the invite Iwona!!  And who else would I use as my muse as the forever talented Iwona, so let me share my card here quickly with you and I will show you the card that inspired me to create mine with.

My card with created with Lawn Fawn's Flutter By stamp set, which I watercolored in.  I love watercoloring and I had to cut out the cute butterfly once I colored it in and add some glitter to it.

As you can see it's almost ready to fly off my card.

And now let me share with you my inspiration, Iwona's gorgeous card.

But if that's not enough inspiration, the original inspiration came from Joni and here is her pretty card Iwona cased for challenge #184.

Well, as you can see everyone can have their take on another person's card, that's why I love the Case Study challenges so much.

Hope you like my take on their gorgeous cards and as part of the participation make sure you leave comments on the designer's blogs as there are prizes to win and trust me you don't want to miss out!

Here are the participating ladies today and I know you will be amazed by this hop!

Tim Holtz July tag

Hi there, about a week and a half ago I was at a scrapbook retreat with my friends and we had so much fun!  I love to getaway for a weekend where we just sit and craft, chat, eat and ohhh, maybe have a few glasses of wine, too...LOL.  My friends and I do this once or twice a year and we found a wonderful home that is geared toward crafters that allows us to have some fun!  We are already booking for February...LOL.  Can't wait to go back!!!!

Anyway, my friends and I love everything Tim Holtz and we try to create his monthly tags as often as we can, so we decided to recreate the July tag, because we all just loved it so much and I thought I would share it.  Here is my finished tag.

It was super fun, I tell many cool techniques, down to creating sand!  Make sure you click on the link above to take you the tutorial if you want to recreate it!  Guaranteed fun for sure!

That seahorse die is so adorable.  My crackle work didn't quite turn out crackle, but I still like it.  It actually was funny when I was heating it...I think I put a little too much crackle paint on it, as it looked like it was growing genitalia and horn...LOL  I did cut them off course...LOL

You can see the sand on the bottom of the's pretty awesome with what Tim created it with.  Love it!

Anyway, just a quick post for you, but I thought I would share it, since I love it.

Have a fabulous day!

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 148: Frame it

Hello there....hope your week is off to a great start!!  Mine is for sure!  This week will be a short one for me as we are heading up to Northern California on Thursday for the holiday.  Visiting our friends there for a few days and it should be fun!

It's no secret I love to work with dies and I do have a nice supply of them..LOL.  I have been fortunate to design for great companies along the years and sure treasure every single die set.  Anyway, one of my sweet friends, Karen Maldonado is on the Cheery Lynn Design team and she is constantly teasing me with her gorgeous creations.  If you haven't by any chance been to her blog, you better run and check it out, as you will see some serious gorgeous creations.

I had a little time to play and decided to create a card for this week's challenge called Frame it.  So without any more talk, here is my card I created for this challenge.

I used quite a bit of dies on this, as you can tell.  Here is a close up of the focal point of my card.

Don't you just love that flower and the pretty leaves and flourish and not to mention that cute little butterfly, which I simply die cut, painted in with water colors and added Tim Holtz glitter to it.

So here is the list of the dies I used:

I think that about covers it!  Hope you love this card as much as I do.  I have more cards that use gorgeous Cheery Lynn dies coming up soon, so stay tuned for more enabling.  And I am sorry in advance...LOL

Have a beautiful day!

JustRite Papercrafts: Sympathy Vintage Labels Eight and Nine

Hi again!  Today is the last day of our JustRite Papercrafts August release! I hope you love the new releases!  I think they are just fabulous!

Today we are showcasing Sympathy Vintage Labels Eight and Nine Clear stamps.  This set is so beautiful and even though the occasion is sympathy, I used it in a happier way, so you can see it being used for a different occasion as well.

For my background I used patterned paper, and then I stamped my label stamp on it with deep pink color and die cut it using Vintage Labels Eight dies.  Then I used our Vintage Filigree Layer dies and die cut a deep pink card stock and stamped my sentiment on it and layered it on top of the stamped label.  Finally I added a pretty ribbon and my card was ready.

Here is what the beautiful Sympathy Vintage Labels Eight and Nine stamps look like
